It was an honor to be a producer sponsor for the Making a Scene: Gala 2021 event hosted by Victory Gardens.

We had a wonderful evening with performances by Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson from their new musical Mexodus, plus a jazz duet featuring Nygel and the incomparable Donica Lynn. The evening also honored American film, television and theater actress, S. Epatha Merkerson, best known for her 17-season run as Lieutenant Anita Van Buren on NBC’s Law & Order. Plus, the entirety of Victory Gardens Theater’s Original Playwrights Ensemble was celebrated for their decades of contributions to the American Theater.

Together, the event raised nearly $210,000 for New Works, Education, Access, and Community Engagement programs!
